YEP YEP blog blog

So as I sit and wait for Weird Al's "Polkarama" to record I figure I had a minute to blog...since well..YEP YEP (my buddy Ian's Nickname rings loud this morning apparently). Much has happened since the last blog, most importantly, I am now the Program Director for SportsTownChicago.com (YAY). We are starting HS football coverage this Friday which will be fun, but also brings me back (GASP) ten years to when I was starting my senior year of HS.

I remember vividly the lunchtable...me, BBA (Big Black Africa), Vasselli, Little Al, Little Tony, Tyler, Nowicki, Lange and a few others that rotated around. Usually the topic on a Tuesday Morning was Raw/Nitro.

Now recenctly the "Expendables" has hit the box office to much success, and the whole "comrade" thing comes back to mind...good call on their parts!

Okay back to work..."She wasn't your type anyway..." - Staham to Stallone at end of Expendables...or was it Zapala to Ferreri? I'll take it as that!

Half a year

Decided to partially jump back into the blogging world. I suppose its my inner Doogie Howser M.D. (cue the theme music...of which I own the complete DVD series). I have been torn of late as to my sleeping patterns, all too often having all too much on the mind. Do I keep the TV on and use sleep timer? Do I just shut the TV off? Do I leave the lappy 365 on (strong bad style)? Do I have my inhaler close by in case I wake up and need it? (Damn that asthma)... Did I really get that tattoo? (yes...yes I did and DON'T regret it). Will I ever love again? (had to throw a cheesy one in there). Based on the movie "A Bronx Tale" I have already gone through one of my three "great ones"... will I ever get to the other two Do I watch the Disney Channel before bed or sportscenter (both are vital to the success of my jobs).

So now I sit...thinking....MAN Mark Buehrle made a great play at opening day game for the White Sox (I like both Chicago teams okay?)

Time will pass...I will sleep...Johnny Z will put people behind bars (yay he passed his bar!)...and tomorrow night is WWE Smackdown LIVE in Chicago (thanks Ashlee) and Wednesday we are off to Omaha for Pauliwog's Wedding...to quote the Rascal Flatts..."There comes a time, in everyones life, when all you can see are the years passing by..."

20 years Doogie....20 years...
